Grants

Thank you for your interest in the San Antonio Junior Forum (SAJF) grant funding process. SAJF is a volunteer women's organization that has provided the San Antonio region with a variety of civic, educational and philanthropic services since 1961, and in doing so, has enhanced the lives of our members and the community.

Why is this important to our organization?

Grants support our mission to strengthen civic, educational, and philanthropic awareness among women as they strive to serve those in need through service to non-profit charitable organizations, provision of financial assistance to students seeking higher education, and provision of philanthropic grants to non-profit organizations in the San Antonio area.

What is the grant process?

Grant applications may be submitted by tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations with a local chapter in Bexar and contiguous counties.

Applications are accepted from non-profits seeking funding of a maximum of $20,000.

Requests must be for specific projects that will benefit economically, emotionally and/or physically disadvantaged individuals.

Organizations interested in submitting a grant application should review the grant application and guidelines in detail, and consider the following timeline:

  • September 1, 2023:  Grant Application and Guidelines available for download

  • November 1, 2023:  Grant applications due to grants@sajuniorforum.org

  • March 15, 2024: Notification of grant recipients
