The SAJF year in a nutshell!

The 2025-2026 SAJF calendar year is well underway!

Committee chairs have been working behind the scenes to ensure that members

have ample opportunities to grow and learn while serving our community.

Although we will continue to meet formally each month,

it was decided to offer members a combination of scheduled in-person and

Zoom meetings.  All in-person Board and General meetings will

have a social hour where members can chat with friends

before the business of the meetings is conducted.

We continue to invite speakers to our General meetings.

We offer all members educational opportunities to learn more about

the nonprofits in our community through attendance at Grant

Committee site visits and grant check presentations.

Always inspiring is our Scholarship Student Reception

where members are impressed by the energy and

focus of high-school seniors chosen for funding.

Service projects are often scheduled to follow a General meeting

to allow all members the opportunity to participate in community giving.

Name Your Scholarship!

Sponsor a scholarship student this year!!

Opportunities exist for donors to sponsor a SAJF scholarship.

Scholarships are often named after a loved one who in their lifetime was a promoter of higher education.

SAJF will select a student with the donor's specifications in mind.

Donors will be invited to attend a reception in honor of the award and to meet the candidate chosen.
